VIFR Cookbook Out!

The new Vashon Island Fire & Rescue (VIFR) district cook book, “What’s Cookin’ at VIFR” is now here! Find a wide variety of savory and sweet treats inside with names such as Hanks’s Homemade Salsa, Duey’s Margarita, Milt’s Rib Roast for 1,000, and the infamous “Mom’s Hamburger and Biscuit Thing”! There are sections on appetizers, soups & salads, main dishes, breads and rolls, desserts, cookies and candy, and ‘this & that’.

Future 9-11 Memorial at VIFRThe proceeds will be going for an Explorer scholarship and the rest toward the 9-11 memorial that is planned for the front of Station 55.

The cook books turned out beautiful. In a three ring binder style with a durable and easily cleaned hard back cover, these books also feature a book stand - all for only $15.00. Make your purchase in person at the VIFR Station 55 business office on Bank Road.
